I love it when people enjoy my figging site — that wide-eyed disbelief is good enough, but when they start to grin, I know I have another convert:
This being Friday I get My red meat day, but wanted to share something i found in the never ending search to liven up chicken and fish. I typed in ginger to see if there was help there with the spice up thingy. Got some good ideas but came across a site—www.figging.com.
I thought what would something to do with figs be in ginger but like fig newtons so I figured why not check it out. Well I did and it wasn’t my grandmothers fig newtons let me tell you. The ginger was there but in a totlally delightfully differant way. I found the perv taht I am felt right at home there,was a very nice find. I have a whole new respect for ginger now!!!
Want to know something? I never payed attention before in the produce department to who was buying ginger but now I cant help watching when around and wondering when I see people picking the ginger roots over just what it is being used for. Chuckles ,funny how you find out something new and it changes how you look at once was a common thing to a whole new light.
